Katharine Hao, Software Engineer at Twitch
Katherine moved back to the California from Hong Kong in 2016. She studied business & has worked as a social media marketer & toddler teacher. In February 2016 she started learning programming through Hack Reactor Prep, & graduated Hack Reactor in cohort 43 in July 2016. She has been working as a Software Engineer at Twitch for the past year.
Caleb Cordry, Software Engineer at Google
Caleb is originally from Kansas City & went to school at the University of Kansas. After spending some time in the financial world in Chicago he decided to head West to California. He now lives in San Francisco & works as a Software Engineer at Google.
Goal:At this workshop you will solidify your understanding of basic JavaScript, building up to the point that you are comfortable problem solving by writing simple functions with conditionals & for loops, as well as comfortability in working with arrays & objects.This is a highly interactive course that uses exercises & projects to drive home these JavaScript Fundamentals. You will finish this course with in-depth knowledge of some of the most important aspects of the language.Topics covered:Arrays, Objects & Advanced FunctionsWho this workshop is for:This workshop is for beginners with very little JavaScript experience.
