About the Panelists
Karthik Sridharan
Founder, Kinnek
Karthik Sridharan is co-founder & CEO of Kinnek, the marketplace for small business purchasing. Prior to Kinnek, he was a research associate at AQR Capital Management. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Class of 2007), & lives in New York City. In his free time, he enjoys eating mangoes.
Kinnek is the platform where small & medium-sized businesses find suppliers & manage their purchasing. Kinnek is disrupting this $2.2 trillion space by enabling businesses to get tailored quotes from many qualified suppliers using a single request.
David Walker
Co-Founder / CEO, Triplemint
As CEO, David leads Triplemint's mission, vision for the future, business strategy, & culture. Working with his co-founder Philip Lang, David drives Triplemint's goal of creating the best possible client experience when buying, selling, or renting a home.
Before founding Triplemint, David left Yale University to become the Director of Marketing at the tech startup YouRenew.com, where he developed the company's brand & led marketing & business development strategy. YouRenew was acquired in 2014 by Clover Wireless.
David returned to Yale University to receive a B.A. in Political Science. While there he became a national champion rower, earning honors as the captain of the Yale Lightweight Crew Team. David currently serves on the Board of the Yale Crew Association & is a lifelong artist who has sold oil paintings & photographs.
Kjael Skaalerud
Scaling.NYC & ADP
Kjael leads a team of consultants who work with HR & Finance leaders at growth stage companies, helping these organizations leverage technology & outsourcing to effectively manage their employees & accelerate growth. Kjael also works closely with the VC community to help their portfolio companies with these types of initiatives. Most recently, Kjael has led pilot programs for ADP's Innovation Lab (Lifion), bringing their next generation HCM products to market.
After observing that rapidly growing companies face a number of thematic challenges, Kjael founded Scaling.NYC, a community for growth stage business leaders to network & learn from their peers.
Along the way, he's been fortunate enough to be acknowledged as an innovative thought leader & top performer. He hopes to always be a student of business & continue finding ways to connect people, ideas & resources.
