About this event
Are you looking to break into the Responsible Tech field? Are you looking to grow your career in the space? Whether its working for a social impact organization, reducing the harms of technology (Responsible AI, Trust & Safety), or ensuring that tech is aligned with the public interest, there is a growing array of roles to know about along with career development advice.
During this livestream, All Tech Is Human will be sharing what we're learning through our wide range of Responsible Tech career development work, including our Responsible Tech Job Board, mentorship program, relationships with hiring managers, & more. You will also hear from four organizations that are currently hiring, letting you know about their organization, the roles they have open, & what types of individuals they are looking for.
All Tech Is Human is a non-profit committed to connecting & expanding the Responsible Tech ecosystem so we can co-create a better tech future. We do this through a variety of activities focused around three key areas: multi-stakeholder convenings & community-building, multidisciplinary education, & diversifying the pipeline with more backgrounds & lived experiences. Our organization has a large community Slack group, regular summits & mixers, a mentorship program, university ambassadors program, open working groups that develop reports, office hours, a job board, & our Responsible Tech Guide. How do we have insight into Responsible Tech career development?
Our non-profit is a connective tissue between the broad range of individuals looking to advance their careers in Responsible Tech, universities educating the next generation, & employers looking for individuals who understand & appreciate social impacts. This allows us to inform, being informed by, & influence multiple nodes of the ecosystem & have a holistic understanding of the nascent field.
Our popular Responsible Tech Job Board allows for regular communication with a diverse range of employers to understand the skills they are looking for.
We have a Slack community of 3.3k members across the world that perpetually inform us about career opportunities, pain points applicants are having, & trends that hiring managers are noticing.
Through our reports, livestreams, & summits, we have now heard from over 350 individuals about how they built their career in Responsible Tech.
