EVENT DETAILS |
Design systems promise workflow efficiency, user experience consistency, & a vocabulary to help everyone speak the language of design. Few design systems are built on a blank slate though, we're often working with hundreds of lines of code & years of design debt before we even begin, so it takes time to deliver on that promise. This talk will take us on a journey into working with color in design systems-one of the most contentious & critical elements of design. From human perception to programmatically generating colors, we'll take a look at the work involved in building design systems from a colorful perspective.
Special Note: Designers + Geeks will be hosting a professional photographer from Meetup.com at this event. The photographs may be used in Meetup's marketing initiatives. We're honored to be recognized by Meetup as a strong community. Guests will be asked to sign a release for these photos, just FYI!
