Flutter SF & Very Good Ventures (VGV) are bringing together Flutter & AI builders in San Francisco for a one-day hackathon focused entirely on Generative UI Gen Kit & Gemini AI.
Gen UI is the idea that interfaces themselves are dynamically generated, adaptive, & AI-native at runtime, constructed from LLM output in real time, responding to context, user intent, & data.

WHAT TO BUILD
Every project must be a Flutter app with at least one Generative UI pattern at its core.
What does this mean? Instead of designing a fixed screen that shows data, your UI should be generated, the layout, components, & content constructed dynamically from AI output at runtime. The interfaces changes based on who the user is, what they need, & what the AI infers, not because a developer hardcoded every state.
