afore is a ~$500m aum pre-seed fund backing exceptional founders. we were started in 2016 by the first product managers at twitter / android nexus, & helped launch the pre-seed category; since then, our portfolio companies have raised over $3 billion from top funds. we lead pre-seed rounds for software companies with checks up to $2m (in a concentrated way, ~10 checks per year), & also run a founders-in-residence (fir) program + fir university program.
