EVENT DETAILS |
SoFin (pronounced "so fine") will be an afternoon breakout during SXSW 2015 for a select group of people from the financial technology and financial services ecosystem. The primary goal for event is to serve as a social gathering where people can get to know each other and learn a bit more about innovative things happening in the space.
We will be gathering at Doc's Motorworks on South Congress to put everyone in that special Austin state of mind. There will be plenty of local craft beer and deep fried, stuffed avocados because that's how we roll.
Who is coming?
Entrepreneurs from fintech and finserv startups, angel & VCs who are active in our verticals, industry folks from large financial firms, and some hand picked guests who are great at generating buzz.
The Agenda
The agenda is still forming but the will be a mixture of mingling, demos from startups, and a few interesting talks. We still have a few more open slots for demos and interesting topics. Please let us know if you would like to present.
Note: We will likely keep the total demo and speaking time down to about an hour or so out of our total time of 4 hours together.

Peeptrade (Austin) - Peeptrade is a social trading platform that allows investors to subscribe to the portfolios and trading activity of today's most successful investment managers, traders, and analysts.
Honest Dollar (Austin) - Honest Dollar will emerge from stealth mode at SoFin. Many in the room will be super excited. Some will be frightened.
AngelSpan (Austin) - Investing in a private company comes with many challenges. One big one? Investor relations. AngelSpan is taking the pain out of IR for both entrepreneurs and investors alike.
