Join us to learn about introductory CS concepts in a friendly & interactive learning environment. We'll be learning about CS through the lens of JavaScript, so you should come with some experience writing JavaScript code.

Topics covered:

What data structures are & why are they important

How memory is allocated & managed in JavaScript

How to measure the efficiency of code (using Big O Notation) & how your code structure can affect the efficiency

Who this workshop is for:

This workshop is for learners with some programming experience, preferably with JavaScript. You should understand JavaScript syntax & fundamental concepts like arrays, objects, loops, & functions. If you are earlier along in your learning journey, you should look for other introductory-level workshops (https://www.hackreactor.com/events) that are better suited for your skillset & study progress.
