Get ready for a day of innovation & creativity at the DevBots Hackathon, hosted by Schematic Ventures & the Verizon Innovation Lab! Come join us as we 'code for the coders' - building AI-powered software tools for the robotics community.
Ideas can cover any aspect of the robot development lifecycle, from design & development (tools to manage simulations, training data, or testing requirements) to operations (solutions to support logging, security, or maintenance). The end users of your product should be the engineers who are building robots to solve real-world problems.
Teams & individuals are encouraged to apply with early ideas, prototypes, and/or companies. Applicants will be granted access to a shared communication platform ahead of the event to connect with other builders & share ideas.
The event will feature panel discussions with robotics industry experts (moderated by senior tech leaders with experience at Rapid Robotics, Ready Robotics, Cruise, & Tesla), followed by a few hours of collaborative hacking. The panel sessions will cover key features of developer tools for roboticists, & challenges & opportunities in the robotics integration process today. The day will conclude with presentations from each of the teams & an awards ceremony.
