WWCSF is participating in Hacktoberfest by holding a hackathon to promote & work on open-source projects that help empower women in tech. Everyone who would like to work on this effort is welcome. Feel free to bring your own project, or come help on one of the projects were highlighting.
6:30 - 6:45pm: Sign in, grab some snacks & settle in 6:45 - 7:00pm: Introductions & featured open-source projects 7:00 - 8:30pm: Make contributions to open source!

One open-source project WWCode SF has been partnering with is Techtonica - it provides free tech training & job placement for unemployed or underemployed folks, & its online curriculum is free. Anyone can help by picking up an issue here: https://github.com/Techtonica/curriculum/blob/master/README.md#volunteering
