Dr. Interian, an associate professor in the Master's in Data Science program at USF, brings a wealth of experience in applied mathematics, data science, & machine learning. She has held roles as a data scientist at Google & co-founded Akualab, a startup specializing in machine intelligence. Dr. Interian has also contributed to designing data science courses at USF & UC Berkeley.
In this session, Dr. Interian will take us through the exciting world of Natural Language Processing (NLP), a key area of AI that allows machines to understand, analyze, & generate human language. She will focus on the Hugging Face API, one of the most powerful tools for a wide range of NLP tasks, including text classification, sentiment analysis, summarization, translation, & more.
