Before joining Momemta Partners as Insights Partner, Ed Maguire was Senior Analyst & Managing Director at CLSA Americas, covering the software industry, technology & innovation. Prior roles include CEO of strategic consultancy firm MAGNet Strategies, Director at Merrill Lynch's technology investment banking group, Senior Director at Merrill Lynch's equity research department, & Research Associate at CIBC World Markets.
Prior to Wall Street, he was Senior Sales Manager for Twinbrook Music Distribution & worked extensively performing & recording as a professional musician. Mr. Maguire holds a B.A. in music from Columbia University & an MBA in finance & management information systems from Rutgers Business School. He has appeared extensively in major media including CNBC, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, BNN, NPR & other outlets.
Bruce Weed is the IBM global program director of Watson & big data ecosystem development, & is part of the IBM Software Group. Bruce has extensive experience in business development, sales & marketing. Additional skills & experience lie in product & brand management, operational strategy, IT strategy & software development. Bruce runs two LinkedIn groups, IBM Big Data & Analytics (which looks at both use cases & technology trends around Big Data) & the IBM Watson Group. He is also a big data evangelist who keynotes at major conferences around the world. Bruce has vast experience in emerging technologies, including his leadership around the launching of ecommerce for IBM back in the early days of the internet.
Antonio Julio has a deep background in disruptive product management, product marketing, sales, global agile development, & delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions with specialization in low code software, data center, cloud computing, end-to-end storage solutions, & enterprise systems management. Antonio's work experience has taken him through small (Prologica Computers), Medium (SID) & Large (IBM, Compaq, Dell) companies which allows him to engage at any level of business growth. At Dell, as the executive director for enterprise business development, he was responsible for bringing fresh solutions for their new IT, based on applications such as analytics (big-data), database acceleration & cloud infrastructure. In 2014, this new portfolio generated about $400mi in additional revenue. Currently he is responsible for developing the GeneXus International business for North America - USA & Canada.
