We're back with another Hardware Meetup & it couldn't come at a better time. Those of us on the East Coast are still digging ourselves out of the snow, & there's more in the forecast I'm looking forward to a warm drink & great talks about hardware startups.

7:20 - 8:00pm Diana Pincus is a product development & manufacturing operations executive with 15 years experience. She is currently the VP of Operations at Sphero (https://sphero.com/), the industry leader in edtech programmable robots & STEAM-based educational tools. Prior to Sphero, Diana was VP of Product Development & Operations at littleBits (acquired by Sphero in Aug 2019) & VP Operations at MakerBot, the desktop 3D printer company (acquired by Stratasys in 2013). Diana will be discussing the human side of Mergers & Acquisitions.
8:00 - 8:40pm Suma is a mission-driven entrepreneur who has co-founded companies in agtech, climatetech & LGBTQ arts. She is CEO of Future Acres (https://www.futureacres.co/), an agricultural robotics startup developing semi-autonomous transport vehicles for speciality crops. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali. Suma teaches the Future of Food: Entrepreneurship as Activism at NYCs School of Visual Arts, is a Venture Partner at Republic, & is an Advisory Board Member of Scale for Climatetech. Suma will discuss product strategy development at Future Acres, including why & how they decided to first work on solving transport challenges for table grape farmers.
