Q&A
How can you sign up for pitching your startup?
Either (1st in line) you join the Discord & submit a deck + 2-min pitch or (2nd in line) you write your name, project, & email on a whiteboard when you show up.
(Please use a clear, readable script & big letters so everyone can read it easily).
How much time will you have for your pitch?
You'll have 2-minute pitch-time, followed by 4-5 minutes of follow-up questions. We'll have up to ten (10) pitches in total.
How will the priority for pitching order be determined for the startups?
Those who join the Discord & submitted their decks + 2-min pitches will have a priority. Then a priority is determined by the order in which the startups are written on the whiteboard.
How do you follow up on a pitch?
To follow up on your pitch, please join our Discord & post a pitch deck (PDF, < 2MB) to "founders-decks" channel. Also, to increase your chances to be noticed by investors, make a very simple traction form (f.e.: "date", "number of users", "% increase", "other key events") & post it on "founders-traction" channel regularly.
If in doubt, send your questions to SVET

"Amazing event, it has the quality of an event that would be put on by a business school once or twice a year, & this one happens once a month. Each judge showed a lot of care into the advice they gave on people's pitches."

"Many thanks to Hacker Dojo for the opportunity to pitch my startup, aMUZE, at their pitching event! The experience was incredibly enlightening, & the feedback received was profoundly instrumental in honing my presentation skills & business direction. The judges were not only insightful but also constructively critical, asking pointed questions that prompted further refinement of our pitch. Thank you for this invaluable opportunity!" -

The hacker Dojo is a very inclusive & inviting space for developers looking to explore their ideas in a safe space with very strong minds. There's even a space for rust developers, which makes me happy SVET invited me to come pitch my project & I received invaluable advice from amazing judges from a wide array of industry's with critical feedback !!
Dylan Kawalec, CTO & Solutions Architect of Invo Technologies
"One of the most interesting pitch events I attended was at the Hacker Dojo meet & pitch. It was incredible to see the community come together to help everyone streamline their ideas & just listen to some of the great future innovators. Couldn't have been done without SVET. Thanks again!"
