SVEF is having its 1st Annual Education Summit on September 22, 2023, from 9-3 pm. With the theme of "Leading with an Abundant Mindset," the Education Summit aims to shed light on the pressing issue of educational disparities & explore viable solutions to address the funding gap between Community Funded schools & State Funded Schools.
The summit will bring together more than 200 participants, including community leaders, education advocates, industry experts, & elected officials. Through a day of meaningful discussions, the event seeks to foster greater awareness of the challenges faced by schools, particularly in under-resourced areas like East San Jos.
By focusing on topics like educational equity, the opportunity divide, the role of educational technology, & workforce development, the Education Summit aims to create actionable strategies to promote fairness & excellence in education.
