EVENT DETAILS
WE ARE GOING TO TRY A VIRTUAL HACK LAB!

We don't know yet if this will be a game jam, a collaborative event, or simply chatting & co-hacking. But we will run it over Zoom, from our respective homes, at our regular scheduled time.

==> HOW TO ATTEND <==
Fill out this form, & you will be added to a gchat group. In there we can shoot around ideas for how to use the time on Wednesday, & also a Zoom link will be posted in there shortly before we begin on Wednesday.

THIS WILL BE VIRTUAL ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THOUGHTWORKS. USE THE ZOOM.

<< ==== Normal/regular meetup description follows ==== >>
<< ==== This is what we normally do in person! ==== >>

Open space for people to get hands-on with new technology. We supply a range of hardware & a friendly environment so you can meet others, learn & hack away.

Website: https://hardwarehacklab.io/
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kxNCYpxcXM

People of all experience levels, from beginners to veterans are welcome here. We use creative coding environments like openFrameworks or Max/MSP, or dedicated programming environments like Unity, to play with everything from sensors to webcams to VR/AR/MR.

WARNING

This meetup has no particular structure. We don't have 'hack lab' projects. We work on whatever we, & you, bring in each week - which could be anything.

The schedule is loose, the feeling is social & non-judgemental. We are just curious & want to see your projects. So bring what you have & share!

NOTICE

We expect all community participants to abide by our Code of Conduct (https://hardwarehacklab.io/code-of-conduct).

By attending the Hardware Hack Lab, the attendee acknowledges that the event may be broadcast or otherwise publicized, & hereby grants permission to utilize visitors image or likeness in conjunction with any live or recorded transmission or reproduction of the event.

ROSTER

HTC Vive, Magic Leap, Oculus, Kinect, Arduino, Leap Motion, Depth video, Brain-Computer Interface, openFrameworks, SuperCollider, Max/MSP, vvvv, Processing, etc.

DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC NEEDS?

Some of these items are only available on request or particular occasions. Use the comments below & direct messages to find out if particular hardware or people with particular skills will be around that week.

If you can't confirm, still drop by & meet us. The lab is a great place to come & learn & meet people.
