The Digital Breakfast
Seating is Complimentary But Seating is Limited
We live in a Golden Age of film & video. There arguably is more quality content on more media platforms than ever before. What's more, content producers & distributors are enmeshed in a fight for dominance, battling each other with big budgets in an ongoing effort to achieve dominance. Not long ago the media marketplace was dominated by a few mega-players with access to massive audiences. who determined which often mediocre products would see the light of day. Now it's the producers who often find themselves in control over where their content will find a home. There's more money vying for more content. The irony is that media consumers now have so much choice that audiences for even the best quality content are segmented & often much smaller than even just a decade ago.
This panel will examine who's winning & who's losing in the war for content & distribution as well as the strategy & tactics behind media companies & platforms as they compete for dominance. In a war engaging traditional content producers & distributors, upstart streamers & independents we'll see where the power lies & who's calling the shots. Please join us for a unique discussion focusing on the rapidly evolving business landscape in film, television & video.
