That brands must embrace technology is probably stating the obvious. But understanding how technology can fully empower the brand may not always be as obvious. There are certainly many pieces to this puzzle including aligning IT strategy with brand goals & getting IT portfolios & platforms to reinforce the brand promise.

Several challenges to deal with as brand & marketing imperatives intersect with IT/digital goals:

New partners: Marketing agencies, creative agencies, other marketing vendors.
New metrics: Impressions, click-through rates, visits, conversions, closures.
Driving new business & revenue amid the disruption of heightened customer expectations.
Implementing & optimizing new technologies including mobile, AI, big data, IoT, & AR/VR.

Join us along with L. Lesley Ma, Chief Information Officer, Cadillac, & Jennifer Tsahalis (Matthews), Managing Director, Head of Digital Business & Operations Management, TIAA, in an engaging discussion about brand & technology. Dan Holewienko, Managing Director, TBT Management Consulting & Head of Transformation & Architecture Service, Marlabs, will moderate the conversation.

From Lesley Ma, you will hear about:

How her teams enabled the brand's aggressive transformation & produced innovation that gave Cadillac an edge with technology savvy Millennial & Generation X consumers.

From Jenn Tsahalis, you will hear about:

How her teams supported their customers' journeys, stepped up customer experience, & grew digital penetration of their existing customer base.
How TIAA turned their digital properties into robust, digital storefronts while tracking progress through thousands of real-time digital metrics.

The event will take place in an intimate setting & will provide the opportunity to network with other senior IT leaders like yourself.

Based in Manhattan, Ma is responsible for IT at Global Cadillac & leads brand IT strategy, portfolio management & execution, & innovation & support. She has been able to successfully establish the processes, solutions, & skills needed to support Cadillac's brand transformation across their global headquarters (in New York) & regional international headquarters (in Zurich).
After eight years with Ford, Ma moved to General Motors in 2006 & served in a number of increasingly demanding capacities until she became CIO for the ASEAN region & global IT director for mobile solutions, operating out of Shanghai & Singapore.

As Chief Operating Officer for the TIAA Digital organization, Tsahalis has played a vital role in TIAA's quest to become a true digital company. In a role that spans both business & technology, she is developing & executing strategic operational plans & establishing right-sized processes that have taken TIAA from an analog to a digital company. Starting her career with Accenture placed Tsahalis on a continuous learning trajectory. At Fidelity Investments, she ran the largest & most complex project in the history of the firm, developing a reputation for bringing highly complex systems & highly matrixed teams together to deliver results. At Merrill Lynch, she led the design, development & delivery of the 3-year program to launch MyMerrill.com & Merrill Edge.com. Tsahalis attended the University of Vermont where she majored in Electrical Engineering.
