The inaugural SF Cloud Native Security Meetup is happening at the end of May!
Join us for a fun evening of networking with security & engineering folks, pizza, & drinks on us of course. We'll be hosted by the lovely squad at Root Ventures in the Mission District.
We'll be joined by our guest speaker, Balachandra Shanabhag who is a Staff Security Engineer at Cohesity.

Bala's talk will be on Modern Appsec vs CodeGenAI threats, which will focus on how xz-style supply chain attacks are possible in code gen bots, & how current appsec practices handle it whether that needs to change.
About Bala:
Bala has over 15 years of experience in various domains of cybersecurity. He joined Cohesity as a Founding Product Security Engineer & helped bootstrap appsec & other security initiatives. Before Cohesity, Bala was at Juniper Networks for 10+ years, helping securely build critical networking gears.
