Keystone species are species that have a disproportionately large effect on their environment -- without which ecosystems drastically change. Within the Bay Area's urban environment, public transit is such a species. Tune in to learn more about the pivotal role the Bay's public transit agencies play in promoting in our communities' mobility & meeting our climate goals, the current threats to the health of public transportation in the Bay Area, & how we can ensure that transit survives & thrives in the years to come.
