Elizabeth Weil is the Founder & Managing Partner of Scribble Ventures, a venture fund built on a powerful thesis: that the most transformative companies often begin as a simple scribble on a napkin. Her fund is dedicated to providing the crucial first check & deep conviction to founders at the pre-seed & seed stage.
But Elizabeth's ability to spot potential at the earliest stage wasn't developed overnight. It was honed through a remarkable career inside some of technology's most legendary companies. As an early member of the team at Google, she helped scale its advertising products. She then joined Twitter, where she was a key part of the corporate development & strategy team, gaining a front-row seat to what makes a startup successful & attractive for acquisition.
She then translated that operational expertise to the other side of the table, becoming a Partner at one of the world's leading venture firms, Andreessen Horowitz. There, she sharpened her skills as an investor, backing visionary founders.
