Join us for a conversation with KoBold Metals CEO Kurt House on the critical minerals enabling the energy transition & Alef Auronautics CEO Jim Dukhovny on the creation of a flying electric car.

KoBold Metals' AI is accelerating our clean energy future by finding new deposits of lithium, cobalt, copper & nickel. With over 60 projects across four continents, KoBold Metals is leading the largest exploration R&D effort to advance the frontier of exploration technology with AI & novel hardware.

Alef Aeronautics is creating the world's first flying car. Alef recently announced receiving a Special Airworthiness Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, allowing it to fly the car in limited locations.

In addition, we'll hear from DOE Boost, a partnership led by Sandia National Laboratories & funded by Department of Energy's Technology Commercialization Fund administered by the Office of Technology Transitions. Their program enables the brightest minds seeking to launch energy tech companies. Hear about the current cohort of innovators tackling the Nation's most pressing energy challenges & how you can get involved. More information at boostplatform.org

After the talks, stick around for a glittery & fancy holiday party with dinner, drinks, & holiday activities to spark a conversation with our speakers, guests, YPE, & Fifty Years community. Wear your finest ugly sweater or sparkles for this special YPE holiday event.

If you're feeling artsy, join the energy ornament painting worshop led by Liz Finnegan, EV Service Diagnostics PMO at Rivian.

This event is hosted by Fifty Years, a VC firm based in San Francisco, backing founders using technology to solve the world's biggest problems.

50 Years is a no shoes office - great opportunity to showcase ugly holiday socks to match your ugly sweater & win a socks competition!
