India & California are at the forefront of global clean-energy deployment & climate action. Both are advancing renewable & low-carbon technologies at scale, mobilizing public & private investment, & shaping policy frameworks that cut emissions while supporting economic growth & equity. Convened on Earth Day as part of San Francisco Climate Week, this event brings together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, & researchers from India & California to share lessons, identify opportunities for collaboration, & strengthen sub-national U.S.-India cooperation on the energy transition & climate resilience.

Srikar Reddy, who previously served at the Department of Commerce, Government of India as Joint Secretary where he oversaw India's commercial relations with countries in Africa & the Middle-East.
The India Energy & Climate Center (IECC) at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy leverages clean energy technology & policy expertise at the world's top public university, Silicon Valley, & the state of California to catalyze the rapid transformation of energy systems that can deliver significant environmental, economic, & energy security benefits. IECC works collaboratively with Indian policymakers & business leaders to design an innovation & deployment ecosystem through tech-informed policy design, capacity building, a leadership dialogue platform & south-to-south collaboration.
