EVENT DETAILS
Virtual Book Discussion with Glen de Vries, co-CEO of Medidata & Dee Dao, Venture Associate for the NYU Innovation Venture Fund.
About this Event
Glen deVries is co-founder & co-CEO of Medidata, a Dassault Systmes company, one of NYC's (and the world's) pioneering healthcare technology companies. Glen is the author of a new book, The Patient Equation: The Precision Medicine Revolution in the Age of COVID-19 & Beyond, which chronicles how the breakthroughs in new data-driven approaches to treatment, & the algorithms working in the background, are increasing our understanding of disease at both molecular & holistic, patient levels.

Join us for a one-one-one discussion with Glen on his vision of staying ahead of the curve in life sciences & healthcare, including:

How our industry integrates new knowledge, new data & new technologies to realize the promise of precision medicine
How patient equations built with new data & advanced models lead to better health outcomes & personalized care
How COVID-19 put a spotlight on the fragility of health care & accelerated the need for change -- where everyone connecting & working together toward a common goal is leading to rapid medical advancements
Royalties from book sales will be donated to Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation. Glen & Medidata have been long-time supporters of ADD ORG. Five lucky participants will receive a complimentary autographed book.

All registered attendees will receive Zoom details 30 minutes prior to the event.

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events & services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email carol.ourivio@nyu.edu for assistance.
