Announcing Our Next Founders Dinner

The SF Table: Founders Dinner

Come curious. Leave richer.

Monday, November 2nd | 6:00 PM | Poesia, San Francisco

For years, I've been bringing together interesting people over dinner in San Francisco. We never really gave these evenings a name.

Now we have one. Welcome to The SF Table.

The idea is simple: put a curated group of smart, curious & generous people around a table, add great food & wine, & see what happens.

No panels. No pitches. No forced networking.

Just interesting people colliding in all the right ways.

On November 2nd, The SF Table: Founders brings together active founders for an intimate evening at one of our favorite San Francisco spots, Poesia.

We'll have authentic Italian food, plenty of Hand of God Wines, and, most importantly, a room full of people worth knowing.

Deals may begin here. So will ideas, introductions & friendships.

But there's no agenda.

The conversation is the agenda.

Give & Get

One tradition we're keeping is something I love. Everyone is encouraged to think about two simple questions:

What can I give?

Who can I help? What knowledge, connections, experience or resources can I share?

What do I need?

What am I looking for? Who would I like to meet? Where could this community help me?

I'll go first.

What I can give:

Advice for anyone thinking about buying a small business or exploring the ETA/search fund world

Help planning an unforgettable trip to Argentina-including perhaps a visit to my vineyard

Introductions. Connecting interesting people is one of my favorite things to do.

What I need:

More great, active founders who would add something to The SF Table

More exceptional founders for our Founders Table-especially experienced founders who have built more than once, & more women founders. If someone comes to mind who belongs at the table, I'd love an introduction.

That's really what The SF Table is about.

Meet someone you didn't know you needed to know.

Learn something you didn't expect to learn.

Help someone without knowing where it might lead.

Maybe find an investment. Maybe find a friend. Maybe simply have a terrific dinner & a conversation you'll still be thinking about the next morning.

The goal is that everyone walks away with something they didn't have when they arrived.

Come hungry. Come curious. Come ready to give as well as get.

Leave richer.

Seats at the table are intentionally limited, & these dinners tend to fill quickly, so please RSVP as soon as you know you can join us.

Looking forward to raising a glass together.

Salud,

The usual fine print:

1. All ticket sales are final. If you find you are unable to attend an event, you may transfer your reservation to someone else, but no refunds will be issued.

2. This is an invite-only event & generally sells out quickly. The goal is great communication & a focused group. We appreciate your interest & welcome you! If you have others that you think would be great additions, please let us know.

3. We do have a waitlist available. Please enter your information in the wait-list ticket section. On the day of the event, we will contact you. If you can come for the mingling, pre-dinner portion, we will see if there are some no-shows & invite you to stay for the dinner portion of the evening.

4. Please only come to the dinner that is the audience you are currently part of, if you are a Founder or a CEO please join that dinner. If you are ACTIVELY investing, please join our investor dinner.

5. We encourage ride-share as parking is restricted in the neighborhood.

6. Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions!

A Few Notes About The Table

This is an invite-only, curated dinner. We deliberately keep the group focused & intimate. If you know someone who would be a terrific addition to a future table, please let us know.

Choose the right table. November 2nd is The SF Table: Founders, for people who are actively founding.

Tickets are transferable but non-refundable. If your plans change, you're welcome to transfer your reservation to someone else.

Waitlist: If the dinner is full, please join the waitlist. We occasionally have last-minute openings.

Getting there: Ride-share is encouraged because neighborhood parking is limited.

Dietary restrictions: Please let us know when registering & we'll do our best to accommodate you.

And a big thank-you to our sponsors, who help make The SF Table possible.
