The fight for bold climate policy has never been more urgent - or more under attack.
Climate Action Club is thrilled to have ClimateVoice's Executive Director Deborah McNamara share an exciting lecture on the current U.S. policy landscape, the anti-climate agendas underway, & how individuals can speak up to promote strong climate policy advocacy in the workplace. Come learn about the fossil fuel interests & large cross-sector trade associations that continue to inhibit progress on climate policy. Stay for the discussions about how we can address this through advocacy techniques that can influence corporate leadership.

Your ticket includes light snacks & a beverage at the event, & help support our nonprofit's operating costs that allow us to continue hosting these community events.
The event has limited space; register now to reserve your spot! If you can't make it, update your RSVP up to 72 hours before the event starts to get a refund & to open spots up for others.

About the Venue
We'll be meeting at The Commons in Hayes Valley, a cozy fourth place dedicated to meaning-making, personal growth & self-expression, in community! The event is open to folks under 21. Limited drinks (soda, other NA bevs) & snacks will be available. Out of respect for the space, please note that SF Commons is a shoes-off environment.

About Our Speaker
Deborah McNamara is the Executive Director of ClimateVoice, a U.S. based nonprofit leveraging the power of corporate influence to win crucial policy battles.
She has worked for social change, environmental, & climate justice-focused nonprofits for over 20 years. Her most recent work includes leading climate-focused campaigns targeting fossil fuel finance, promoting climate solutions & a just transition away from fossil fuels, & enacting strong local climate policy.
