The growing number of women in the workforce & in leadership roles, paired up with the increased buying power of women is slowly but surely transforming the business world in many aspects: demands of better maternity policies, innovative products to prevent women's health issues, & better fertility solutions are top priorities for the modern woman.
Female founders & top executives are leading the rise of a new Innovation sector that is increasingly gaining momentum: Femtech. With an estimated market size of 50B by 2025, Femtech largely encompasses any digital or hardware health tool or service focused on improving one of many aspects of women's health, including wearables, internet-connected medical devices, mobile apps, & hygiene products, among other related products & services. The broader definition of the term includes maternal & infant health, family care, & personalized holistic solutions.

Sara Wajnberg, SVP of Product at Oscar
Sara oversees the healthcare company's entire suite of products, including operational systems, internal tooling for Oscar's Concierge Teams, the apps Oscar doctors log into for patient information, & Oscar's member-facing mobile & web apps. Prior to joining Oscar she worked in product at NYC-based e-commerce tech startups for 7 years, including Seamless & Lot 18, a luxury wine e-commerce retailer. She holds a degree in Psychology from Harvard University.

Mette Dyhrberg - Cofounder, CEO MyMee
Mette is an economist turned diagnostician, she has become an authority of autoimmune disease data. She first entered the functional medicine arena in an attempt to tackle her own chronic health issues. In her early twenties, she became severely ill. For years, Mette battled an ever-expanding array of medical diagnoses ending up with six different autoimmune diseases simultaneously which she was taking many different medications to combat. Mette hacked her own health & in doing so, she created a tool that solved her health problems. Her coaching methods have already helped restore quality of life to hundreds of women who had struggled with less than effective treatment plans by the modern medical system.
Mymee's Digital Therapeutics program reverse the symptoms of chronic autoimmune disease through data analytics & health coaching, reducing or eliminating the need for expensive drugs. More than 80% of patients affected by autoimmune diseases are women. They are disproportionate black & hispanic.
Estrella Jaramillo - Cofounder B-wom
Estrella Jaramillo is the Cofounder of B-wom. She is a passionate women's health advocate & aims to eradicate the anxiety women suffer when it comes to their bodies & their intimate health, removing the stigma & the taboos around them. Estrella holds a Masters in Corporate Communications & Entrepreneurship from IE Business School, after which she went on to build a consultancy business to help social startups focused on women's & maternal health raise awareness & gain visibility internationally. She has advocated or spoken about women's health in Spain, Germany, Ecuador, & now runs the US & Latin America Markets of the B-wom project.
B-wom is a digital coach for women's health that offers users personalized care programs with habits, exercises, educational contents, & a tracking tool. B-wom has 215k end users & supports employers with female talent retention & healthcare cost reduction, by ensuring a healthy return to work after maternity, in addition to continued support through previous & subsequent stages in a woman's life.
Christie H. Lee - Product Manager, Babyscripts
Women are at the heart of healthcare, as the originators, receivers, & decision makers - from a very literal sense in childbirth, to being the purchasers of care. Christie's passion is to enable better healthcare for women. She believes that focusing on women's health can identify & address many disparities within healthcare between the genders.
Christie is a Product Manager at Babyscripts, a healthcare startup driven by one mission, improving maternal & fetal health. Christie leads the Product & Engineering team by driving the evolution of ideas into innovative, scalable solutions. She collaborates with practitioners of care & patients to create practical solutions that can be implemented into any health system. She is most proud of the work that her team has done to create a solution for low-income mothers & to help care teams proactively create relationships with their patients.
Carly Stockdale - VP of Commercial Operations, Prelude Fertility
Carly leads various patient experience, technology & strategic partnership initiatives within a comprehensive fertility services company. Previously she served as the Executive in Residence on Morgan Stanley's investment management growth team working with healthcare entities. Prior to that, Carly served as the CEO of ChartRequest through its sale in 2015 where her team built the first self-service release-of-information marketplace for healthcare providers monetizing records requests online. Carly is an active angel investor & company advisor to healthcare startups.
