Welcome to Google for Startups at San Francisco Tech Week!

You felt the spark in Boston, New York, & beyond. Now, experience the "One Google" Hub at San Francisco Tech Week! Connect with the tech, investors, & community you need to accelerate your startup.

Google for Startups is hosting two days of startup programming on October 6th & 7th. Each day will have morning & afternoon time blocks. Hear from Dr. Astro Teller (Captain of Moonshots, X), Paige Bailey (Member of Technical Staff, Google DeepMind), Scott Barneson (Managing Director, North America Startups, Google Cloud), Jiong Liu (Wiz), Jaclyn Konzelmann (Director of Product Management, Google Cloud), David White (Global Founder Advocate, Google Cloud), Kathryn Van Nuys (Director of Global Venture Capital & Startup Investor Ecosystem, Google Cloud), & so many more!

Attendees may register for as many blocks as they choose.

This event is a part of #SFTechWeek-a week of events hosted by VCs & startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.

All registrations are subject to review & approval from the Google for Startups team. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email from Partiful.

Please arrive early to all programming to allow time for check-in & badging. All sessions are subject to venue capacity & are seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: This programming is strictly reserved for the startup community. Our sessions are unapologetically technical & built exclusively for early-stage founders, CTOs, & startup builders. If you are building the next generation of tech, this is your home base for state-of-the-art AI insights, hands-on workshops, & high-value networking.

Please allow for extra time before the first session to check in & collect your badge.

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM | Session to be confirmed |

2:00 PM - 2:45 PM | The New Startup Advantage: AI, Security & Trust |
AI is reshaping how startups build, sell, & scale. Scott Barneson (Managing Director, North America Startups, Google Cloud) & Jiong Liu (VP of Product Marketing, Wiz) explore how founders can approach security & responsible AI not as constraints, but as advantages that help them move faster, win customers, & scale with confidence.

3:15 PM - 4:00 PM | Lessons from Launching: Deploying Agentic Workflows at Scale |
Launching Pomelli taught us that agentic workflows require more than just clever prompting - they demand rigorous product-grade engineering. In this talk, Jaclyn Konzelmann (Director of Product Management, Google Cloud) explores the real-world lessons from our launch, focusing on the architectural safeguards, state management patterns, & validation frameworks needed to move beyond the demo phase & into reliable, user-facing production.

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM | The New AI Math: Balancing Model Velocity with Economic Feasibility | Side Stage |
As the industry moves from what is possible to what is economically feasible, the "inference stack" has become the new battleground for margins. In this session, David White (Global Founder Advocate, Google Cloud) breaks down the strategies required to achieve sustainable unit economics while maintaining rapid model velocity. We will explore how to optimize for structural profitability by leveraging edge compute & multi-model orchestration to bypass the "token tax," creating a scalable architecture that meets the rigorous operational benchmarks of the modern AI economy.

4:30 PM - 5:15 PM | Details to be confirmed. |

More information coming soon.
