We are excited to announce our next DevOps & Drinks event, which will be held on Thursday March 28th at a repeat partner, who just moved into an amazing office space, Beeswax! Beeswax & our friends at Spotinst will both be presenting on a variety of interesting topics involving CI/CD & Kubernetes.
Ram Kumar Rengaswamy, CTO & Co-Founder of Beeswax, an amazing NYC based bidder as a service organization, will present on the topic of
Jenkins on Kubernetes :
Beeswax uses Jenkins as a Continuous Integration system.
In this talk, we will cover:
- Jenkins deployment on Kubernetes
- Writing declarative pipelines that leverage Kubernetes
- Best practices for integration tests using Kubernetes pods
- Using Ansible to provision test containers
- Scaling a Jenkins deployment in practice
Also, our friends at Spotinst have returned for another interesting presentation by Tomer Hadasi, the Senior Solutions Architect.
This will discuss Serverless experience for Kubernetes using Spotinst Ocean & throw some words on how to save money on Jenkins environments, with & without k8s.
The Averity DevOps team will be organizing the event, & as usual will be available to answer any questions about the state of the market, resume tips, or anything at all.
As always food & beverages (beer, soft drinks, wine, water) will be provided courtest of Spotinst & Beeswax (at the beginning of the event) , & we will of course be doing the Averity giveaway at the end of the event. More details to follow about the giveaway as the date moves closer!
