Giovanni Casinelli, Co-Founder, CTO & President, Aspire ($300M raised): Giovanni Casinelli is an Italian entrepreneur & technologist best known as the co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of fintech company Aspire. He has played a central role in building Aspire's all-in-one financial operating system for small & medium-sized businesses across Southeast Asia, helping scale the company's engineering & product infrastructure since its founding in 2018. Prior to Aspire, Casinelli co-founded several startups including BonAppetour, where he served as CEO & CTO, & launched ventures such as CryptoJobs & Meteor Link, reflecting a strong background in startup development & software engineering. He studied computer engineering at Politecnico di Milano & later participated in Y Combinator's W18 batch, experiences that shaped his focus on building scalable fintech platforms & developer-driven products.
Arvind Ayyala, Partner, Geodesic Capital ($1B AUM): Arvind Ayyala is a Partner at Geodesic Capital & the creator of the UNPAK3D Podcast, bringing a unique blend of hands-on startup experience, strategic insight, & investment acumen. He has been actively involved with startups since 2006, supporting over 30 growth investments, with a focus on Enterprise AI, Vertical AI, Fintech, Financial Services, & Health IT. He has operated across the US, Southeast Asia, India, & Sri Lanka. Arvind has guided companies through full-scale growth, affiliated with nine boards, & has been part of multiple companies with successful exits totaling >$15B, including four IPOs & six M&As. He has invested in Glean, HighTouch, Fieldguide, Altruist, Sardine, Writer, ScaleAI, Sakana AI, Alkira, Transcarent, Nova Credit, Nile Networks, TRM, Sprinklr (CXM); Walkme (WKME); Livongo (LVGO/TDOC); Hedvig (CVLT); Taulia (SAP); Velocloud (VMW); Druva, Seismic, Feedzai, Vesta, Carta, Aetion (acq. Hongfei Xia, Principal, January Capital ($300M AUM): Hongfei Xia is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investor at January Capital in Singapore, where he focuses on venture capital & private equity opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining January Capital in September 2024, Hongfei spent over two years at Google as the Corporate Development Lead for North Asia & Southeast Asia, where he oversaw M&A & growth investments. His extensive background in technology finance also includes serving as a Private Equity Principal at Silver Lake in Hong Kong & working in investment banking at Bank of America in Chicago.
