If one could simply provide a way to trustlessly represent property, 9.2 Trillion Dollars worth of assets and collateral that exist in the developing nations would finally be recognized and able to be acted upon in commerce.
In many developing nations their property is just that, the thing they live in, nothing more. Where as to you or I our homes serve as collateral to everything from our identity/reputation, access to credit and even business contracts, billions cannot use their homes this way. It is referred to as "Dead Capital" - Capital that you cannot engage in commerce with.
This meetup will talk on Notarization, Deeds and the Blockchain and how cracking this nut would mean 9 Trillion directly in the hands of the poorest in the world.
