Larry is Head of Accessibility at Verizon Media where he directs a dedicated team of accessibility professionals & coordinates with thousands of designers & developers to ensure that Verizon Media's many products, services & media offerings are as accessible as possible for people with disabilities.
Christopher Patnoe
Head of Accessibility Programs
Google
Christopher Patnoe is the Head of Accessibility Programs & Disability Inclusion for Google. He leads Google's efforts around the accessibility of product, people (both Googler & end users) & partnerships. He has more than 20 years experience in Tech working at companies like Apple, Sony Ericsson & Disney where he's built hardware, software, & services. His current passion is Accessibility at the intersection of immersive technologies (AR/VR) & consumer hardware. He is the chair for the Immersive Captions Community Group with the W3C, is a co-Chair of the XR Association Accessibility Working Group, & sits on the Board of Trustees for the American Foundation for the Blind. Christopher has a degree in Music from UC Berkeley.
Cynthia Slowik
Innovation Manager
Verizon 5G Labs
Cynthia Slowik is an Innovation Manager for the 5G Lab in NYC. She's responsible for live virtual event programming, innovation workshops, & supporting co-creation initiatives across the NYC & Verizon innovation ecosystem. Most recently she executed an event series partnership with WXR to highlight relevant XR topics in a variety of virtual platforms. Notable work achievements from producing NYCxDESIGN, New York City's official Design Week' & an active mentor for several highly-regarded tech accelerators such as Barclay's Accelerator, powered by Techstars & hardware tech Futureworks incubator programs.
