Participate & test your coding skills in Round 1 of the YoungWonks Coding Challenge (California) for elementary, middle & high schoolers in California. This is a virtual event.
This event will be split in 2 rounds:
-Round 1: March 22, 2025. Multiple Choice Question screening. Virtual event.
-Round 2: March 29, 2025. Timed Coding Challenge. In-person event which will take place in Pleasanton, California. Only participants who pass Round 1 will be invited to compete in Round 2.
All participants who attend Round 1 will receive a coding proficiency assessment report regardless of their performance. It will list out all of the graded concepts that were covered during the Multiple Choice Question screening with their respective score.

Buying a ticket on FullCalendar.com does not count as registering.
This event is meant for participants 8-18 years old from all over California. If you are not from California, don't worry. We will be hosting another coding Challenge for other locations in late 2025.
The registration fee is $1. Parents can register their kid(s) to the event in the following way:

Step 2) Click on Register for $1
Step 3) Choose the "California" tile
Step 4) Fill up the Event Registration Form
