The NYC startup scene is incredibly diverse in many ways, including subject matter. In this panel discussion, we'll explore how tech at the intersection of {beauty, fashion, food, finance, biology, & more} shapes Silicon Alley & paves the way for a dynamic future. Learn about how you can turn your passion or expertise into a flourishing business by adding tech.
You'll hear from a panel of founders including:
Adriana Vazquez, CEO of Lilu
Adriana grew up in Mexico City where she discovered her love for technology. She graduated from MIT where she received a B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science. She later pursued a Masters in Integrated Product Design at the University of Pennsylvania where she had the idea for Lilu. She enjoys running, cycling, attempting to snowboard, has been a pescatarian for over a decade & kind of speaks four languages.
Lisa Guerrera, CEO of SeeThru
Lisa is a scientist, entrepreneur, communicator, & supporter of radical transparency. She graduated cum laude from the Macaulay Honors College at CCNY with a B.S. in Chemistry, & started SeeThru at the Zahn Innovation Center. She's currently a part of Sephora Accelerate's 2019 cohort & a mentor to new startups at Zahn.
Doors open at 5:30pm & the event begins at 6:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is made possible by the Zahn Innovation Center, a startup incubator at The City College of New York (CCNY) that supports student-led ventures & provides entrepreneurial training & education to students at CCNY & high school girls across NYC.
