Our presenter, Fred Smith, retired in 2006 from a career in the semiconductor industry to run his financial planning practice in Los Gatos for ten years. He is a long-term board member of the local chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors. Currently, he leads a monthly discussion group on a broad range of financial topics for the AAII (see local website below). In his spare time, Fred enjoys hiking, photography, & travel to exotic places.
