As a queer woman of color, she's been fighting to bring more humanity to the tech industry, & her mission is to create the world's most trusted sexual wellness brand to help people increase their sexual health, power, & confidence. Previously, Andrea co-founded the leading financial solution for growing startups,, which now employs 150+ employees globally. She also served as a venture partner at 500 Startups, a global venture capital fund, where she worked with hundreds of startup companies.

Bryon Dawayne Pierson Jr.

Bryon Dawayne Pierson Jr. is a social entrepreneur based in St. Louis, MO. He was a foster care student that spent his student undergraduate experience studying enrollment & retention best practices. His senior assignment looked at 330 colleges across America & what they are doing to retain students. He also was a program evaluator on the national level for a college access organization called Boys Hope Girls Hope, Lastly he served as the head of college outreach for a US Senate Campaign in Missouri. Bryon is passionate about growing honest & collaborative organizations.

Mariah Barber

Mariah Barber is an author, certified health education specialist, & researcher who has been working in the field of public health for ten years. Barber holds a DEAI certificate from Cornell & an MPH in community, social & behavioral health as well as a B. S. in public health with a concentration in community health & a B.A. in international studies with a concentration in Latin America. She has dual certifications in cultural competency & global understating as well as immediate language proficiency in Spanish. Barbers work historically has been focused on the intersectionality between biological & social sciences on a global scale.They are the founder of the start up Invisible Strengths aimed at created a more intersectional & inclusive future of work. Her professional experience includes working as a radio personality, spoken word artist, content curator, mentor, moderator, researcher, counselor, facilitator, writer, advocate, organizer; teacher, podcaster, blogger, public speaker & educator which all influence the passion that she brings to public health & poetry.

Transparent Collective is a non-profit helping Black, Latinx, & womxn founders access the connections & resources they need to raise VC funding. We do this through our quarterly programs, monthly workshops, & continued community support. To date, we have had over 70 founders go on to raise over $85M in funding!
