It will be held at Encina Commons, Room 119, on Stanford's campus. Register to join us in person.

We will be joined by Dr. Karen Levy who will discuss her book, Data Driven: Truckers, Technology, & the New Workplace Surveillance. In this talk, Dr. Levy will describe how digital surveillance is upending life & work for long-haul truckers on the open road. She'll explore how legal mandates support new forms of managerial surveillance, & the real impacts AI is beginning to have on truckers' work.

Light refreshments & snacks will be served. Please arrive 5 minutes early to avoid disrupting the guest speaker.
