Vision Weekends are Foresight's annual gatherings for multidisciplinary futurists & technologists, a reunion for our global community, & a celebration of ideas, technologies, & projects aiming for flourishing long-term futures. We host Vision Weekends to encourage top talent across biotechnology, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, computing, space, & existential hope to burst from tech silos, & convene to leverage their expertise towards positive futures. Hosted in two countries, over two weekends, our Vision Weekends gather researchers, builders, designers, entrepreneurs, funders, & more.
Come for the ideas, & make friends across disciplines, generations, & continents who are similarly on the path to creating positive futures. Join panels, listen to fireside chats & lightning talks, focus groups, mentorship hours, tech demos, & more. Additionally, stay for the festivities.
Expect engaged discussion on topics including cryonics, DeSci, private ML, computational biology, LEV, space exploration, BCIs, WBEs, AGI, foundational science funding, rejuvenation, molecular nanotechnology, chemputing, computer security, prediction markets, charter cities, & more.

The Program:
Saturday: Exploring Tech Trajectories
Join us for three tracks, running in parallel!
Track 1 has back-to-back panels, exploring technological trajectories of biotechnology, longevity, molecular nanotechnology, neurotechnology, cryptography, AI, space, & more with leading figures across fields.
Track 2 has topical socials, where speakers will join after their panels to deep-dive with you into the topics discussed during their panels.
Track 3 is reserved for a magical mystery track, designed by you! As a participant, you can sign up to give a lighting talk, demo, or show & tell on a topic of your choice.
Sunday: Existential Hope Artifacts
Based on Saturday's technology trajectories, you will join parallel tracks to generate positive future applications of your favorite technology, their benefits to society, & paths to get there. In groups, you will turn these applications into concrete technological & institutional artifacts of futures inspired by Existential Hope, & present them to the rest of us. Do any of the artifacts go well together? Which comes first? Can we combine your artifacts into an Existential hope future that highlights an integrated world that is worth striving for?

FORESIGHT INSTITUTE
Our community is where breakthrough technologies are born. For the last 37 years, Foresight Institute, based in California, has been gathering & supporting the thinkers shaping the edge of science & tech innovation. Nanotechnology, AGI, smart contracts, prediction markets, & specific longevity approaches: name it, we were there for it.
Foresight's programs focus on advancing molecular nanotechnology, biotechnology for longevity, & computer science, but our work extends cross disciplinarily into other related tech fields, such as space, neurotech.
We are a positive-future-movement, composed of multiple, specialized, & coordinated sub-projects. Each of them a piece of the puzzle of our grand future.
