Join us this Friday May 25 for the launch of the Buymeby app(Beta). It will be an evening of killer food, presentations, movement, & music with peers & individuals who are shaking up the local food game. We've carefully crafted an incredible list of guests, activities, & lineup of presenters who are prepared to nourish us with new perspectives, insights, & know-how, & celebrate the launch of this food community revolution.
Buymeby's mission is to help local food reach more locals. We want to help create a world where people feed people. We feel that by our decentralizing food distribution system we can help achieve greater economic efficiency & resiliency - reducing foodwaste, & allowing profits to be distributed locally
6:00 PM
EAT MEET MINGLE MOVE (DOORS OPEN)
There will be music, food, dancing & stretching(for those of you who sat at a desk all day). Meet local small food vendors, learn about where your food comes from, & taste what they have created for your taste buds, or dance your face off because its Friday & you deserve it!
7:00 PM
SPEAKERS
Learn about the foundations of community, the immense benefits of choosing local(fresher) food, & how you can access it more efficiently. Learn about the history of sharing food with others, & how food can help us form stronger bonds with ourselves & those around us.
8-10 PM
CONNECT EAT PLAY
Grab a bite(we will have fresh food from small local vendors available) & discuss the topics covered with other interesting individuals, or just dance like nobody is watching, learn how to juggle, play the drums, & much more. This is a safe space for movement & self-expression.
