Be among the first to experience Scaling Intelligence, a new exhibition bringing together 13 commissioned projects exploring the possibilities of computing at scale with artificial intelligence.
As aesthetic practices evolve, how can artists help us interpret new realities unlocked through scaling intelligence?
Each selected artist, culture maker, or collective receives a cash stipend, materials support, & $20,000 in Modal cloud computing credits to develop a new work. Over the coming weeks, the commissioned creators will work with engineers, developers, producers, curators, & exhibition designers to bring their proposals to life.
Opening night offers the first look at the resulting works before the exhibition continues at Gray Area through November 1.
Modal & Gray Area are supporting creators whose practices reveal what intentional & imaginative engagement with AI can look like in the context of evolving digital & visual culture.
