Join us Wednesday, June 26th at 6:30pm for a seriously funny & funnily serious evening where we take a look at the craft & art of humor-based advertising. We have three of the most well known practitioners, nay, exemplars of merry marketing & jocular jingles. Featured panelists, Matt Hooper, David Ryan Polgar, & Rachel Scherer will discuss what's funny & how to effectively employ humor in marketing & advertising.
The evening begins with a performance by a surprise improv comedy group.
There will be drinks & light snacks.

Matt Hooper, founder of Live! From Tomorrow,is the former VP, Open Innovation at Barclays & Head of Rise New York. Previously, Managing Director of Startup NEXT NYC (acquired by Techstars)
David Ryan Polgaris a pioneering tech ethicist who paved the way for the hotly-debated issues around Facebook, privacy, ethical design, digital wellbeing, & what it means to be human in the digital age. He recently founded, All Tech Is Human, & co-hosts a podcast series, Funny As Tech, that takes a lighter look at issues in the technology realm.
Rachel Schereris the founder of Visible Consulting Group & the co-founder of Dusk Creative Group. A verbal brand director & UX content strategist, Rachel marries research & storytelling to help startups translate their vision into powerful messaging & ultimately, compelling products. Her previous clients include Canary, Transfix, & TravelBank. Rachel is also a NYC-based improviser & a veteran of the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Magnet, The PIT, & Chicago City Limits' touring company. She currently produces & performs in the improvised 1940s sci-fi radio show X Plus One, & enjoys her work as a corporate improv leader for clients like National Grid & Goldman Sachs.
