In this talk we'll be diving into the capabilities & benefits of quantum computing in modern day & the potential it has to shape our future world!

Few technologies have engendered as much breathless excitement & trenchant skepticism in recent years than quantum computing. Articles come out every other week claiming that a system has added more qubits or has broken some new record, & rumor has it that quantum technology will revolutionize AI, finance, chemistry, drug discovery, transportation, & almost everything else.

Target Audience:

Anyone interested in data science, quantum computing, machine learning and/or coding!

What You Will Gain:

A basic understanding of what quantum computing is
What applications QC can be used for
How I can get started using a QC
How to Prepare:

- Have the Zoom Client for Video Meetings installed well before the webinar begins: https://zoom.us/download

He then spent 10 years researching superstring theory & cosmology, co-authoring almost 40 technical articles. To promote the public understanding of science, he founded the science crowdfunding platform Fiat Physica & non-profit Science Partnership Fund. In 2016 he graduated from the Metis data science bootcamp with a capstone project on topological data analysis. He is Adjunct Faculty at Singularity University & a Director of Astronomers Without Borders.

Trent Fowler

Trent Fowler is a data scientist & machine learning who got his start in these fields by attending the Galvanize Data Science Immersive bootcamp in 2018.
