Iris is originally from The Netherlands where she studied Information Technology Majoring in Interaction Design. Something we nowadays call UX. After a 3 year stint on the Back End (DB design & development) in a bank in Brussels she decided her heart was on the Front End. From Belgium to the Washington DC & then to California she was able to maintain a hybrid trajectory as Front End Developer/ UI designer to Lead UX Developer/ Designer to Senior UX/ UI Architect.

Prabitha Ganesh is a seasoned executive & technologist with 20+ years of experience ranging from software development & technical operations to engineering management. She currently serves as Dir. of Platform Infrastructure at Box & one of her ambitious goal is to increase womens participation within the TechOps organization. In addition, Prabitha serves as the co-chair for Boxs Women-In-Tech initiative, purpose of which is providing a platform for development & networking opportunities for women in the technology space. Prior to Box, Prabitha worked at companies such as PayPal, HP, Ellie Mae, Ericsson in various engineering positions.

Dr. Anita Jindal is a seasoned business leader with passion for technology & products. She is currently Dir. of Engineering at NetApp, & prior to that held a Sr. Dir. role at Oracle. At NetApp, she leads data science platform & application teams. Her teams have delivered first data science, & microservices platforms at NetApp based on big data & cloud technologies. She has held various engineering leadership positions at Sun where she led her engineering teams to deliver the first specifications & reference implementations for Java Web Services technologies. Anita worked as a Resident Research Associate at Argonne National Lab, where she did extensive research on the application of parallel computing to deduction systems, an area of AI. Anita has multiple software patents & publications & has been a speaker & moderator at STEM & Women In Technology events. Anita is currently serving as a Board Member for STEMentors Silicon Valley that promotes STEM for underrepresented children. Anita holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Renu Tewari is currently the Director of Engineering at Cloudera for Stream Processing & Streaming Analytics focusing on all things related to data in motion. Previously, she led the Kafka team at Linkedin & was a Distinguished Research Staff Member at IBM Research working on large scale distributed systems, data management & clustered filesystems. She has a PhD in Computer Science from UT Austin & is on the Big Data advisory board for Rutgers University. She is a strong advocate for women in technology & a champion of STEM for girls. In her spare time she actively volunteers for non-profits associated with childhood education & health while harboring a secret passion for theater & stand-up comedy.
