Join The Well for a weekend of coworking + community in beautiful & inspiring Brooklyn!
#TheWellSpaceBK is pop-up coworking experience for Black women at work. We're creating a space for ambitious Black women 9-to-5ers, creatives, freelancers & entrepreneurs to create + collaborate with a TRIBE of like-minded women.
Come spend the weekend working in a space that feels like home, courtesy of our stunning venue, Shell's Loft. Check your email on comfy couches, build real + lasting relationships with the women around you, & learn from #DopeWomenDoingThings in their careers!
Our theme for this weekend is #CommunityOverEverything. We want you to spend this weekend working, but also growing your social network & building a community of women around you who can can level up with, together.

---------Our Agenda (Final Speaker Announcements Coming Soon)---------
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Friday, Saturday + Sunday):We open at 9:00 AM! Come vibe at the space to check email, work on your pitch deck, or read a book! We have coffee & tea, plus chill music (yes, that's Jill Scott playing in the background) & wifi!
Each afternoon during lunch, we're inviting #DopeWomenDoingDopeThings to The Well to share their expertise & help you thrive at work.
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM (Friday): Launch + Fund Your Dope Idea: Leveraging Your Community
Successful female founders know that in order to really launch, fund & scale a company, you can't go it alone. We have some of our fave Black women entrepreneurs coming to The Well to tell us how they leveraged their community when they started their companies, & how community helped them gain access to funding. We have Tiffany Dufu, author of Drop The Ball & #DopeFemaleFounder of The Cru, & Dee Poku, master connector & #DopeFemaleFounder of WIE (Women Inspiration & Enterprise) in the building to talk about how their networks helped them launch their companies.
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM (Saturday): How To Build Community At Work (Even If You're 'The Only One')
Are you the only Black woman where you work? Maybe the only one in management or C-Suite? We're bringing in a few dope women (including Minda Harts, Founder of The Memo & host of the Secure The Seat podcast) to lead us in sharing our experiences as token Black women in the workplace. They're also going to give us some actionable strategies for building community at work, even when you're the only Black woman in the room.
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM (Sunday):Building For The Culture-How To Authentically Build A Company For Your Community
On Sunday we're hosting our signature event, the #DreamJobBrunch. Enjoy brunch treats & mimosas & hear how other Black women entrepreneurs are building companies that serve their communities. Learn how to put #CommunityOverEverything in your own business-we'll have the #DopeFemaleFounders of Mimconnect, #Blkcreatives & KINDRD in the building, plus our own co-founders will share how they put community first while building The Well (which already has almost 200 members).
2:30 PM - 6:00 PM (Friday + Saturday): The Well is back to business on Friday & Saturday afternoon. Yes, we'll have snacks to help you keep you focused when you hit that afternoon slump. And who knows...we may even open a bottle of wine to celebrate the day's wins as a TRIBE!
