AI is not just confined to screens; it is shaping the intelligence of the spaces we inhabit. This panel explores Design & Physical AI through sensitive environments & robotics, examining how AI can be thoughtfully embedded into physical spaces & everyday systems. Panelists will discuss designing the next generation of intelligent environments & the expanding role of robotics across domains, from care & mobility to work, learning, & urban life.

Speakers Bio:

David Webster leads UX for Google Labs, where he has built an organization dedicated to user centricity as a driver for zero-to-one innovation in AI products. Some recent product hits from Labs include Notebook LM, Google AI Studio, & Google's video generation tool Flow. Labs team is constantly launching products & experiments at labs.google. David joined Google in 2022 as a founding member of the Labs leadership team, following a long career as one of the original partners at IDEO.

Leonardo Giusti is a design & research leader focused on translating advanced R&D into real-world product experiences. He is co-founder & Chief Design Officer at Archetype AI. Previously, he was Head of Design at Google ATAP, where he worked on Project Soli & Project Jacquard, & led design teams at Samsung Design America & MIT's Design Lab. Leonardo holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, has authored over 40 scientific papers, filed more than 40 patents, & his work has been featured in leading international publications including The New York Times, Wired, & Fast Company.
