Ethan Schwarzbach,InFactor -Ethan is the co-founder of InFactor, an integrated Financial Technology company providing liquidity solutions across the spectrum of non-bank lending. Prior to InFactor, Ethan worked in Business Development at early stage startup, Orchard, a marketplace for loan originators & institutional investors to explore & evaluate opportunities for funding, buying, & selling loans. Ethan started his career as an investment banking for four years at RBS in Fixed Income. He holds a BA from Duke University.
Kunal Mehta, Hearst Ventures -Kunal is a Venture Investor with Hearst Ventures & the author of Disruptors: Entrepreneurs & the Escape from Corporate America & Finding Genius. Kunal began his career at J.P. Morgan & Nomura Securities & transitioned away from Wall Street by profiling the founders of companies such as Pinterest, Foursquare, Betterment, & others to understand how entrepreneurs had left the security of corporate roles. He published these conversations in Disruptors & has been invited to speak at over 60 universities. After working on Wall Street, Kunal worked for the non-profit, charity: water, for two years before launching his own startup, Unfold. Kunal was a venture investor with the Innovation Venture Fund & now with Hearst Ventures.
Sandra Janus, Harry's - Sandra works on the Operations team at Harry's, a global multi-channel grooming brand, where she runs planning for their e-commerce business globally. Previously, Sandra worked at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking divisions in both New York & Toronto. She received a BA in Business Administration & a BHSc in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario & is a proud Canadian.
Moderator: Sameer Syed, Google -Sameer works in Strategic Partnerships at Google, where he is responsible for building, managing, & growing partnerships with Google's strategic digital media partners. Previously, Sameer worked in business development roles at Tremor Video & at ad tech startup, Genesis Media. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. Sameer is the organizer & founder of Wall Street to Silicon Alley. He graduated from the University of Michigan.
