EVENT DETAILS |
Kintone will guide you through how to start off a Data Visualization project. In this first event, you will be utilizing Kintone's web databases to build out a Bubble Cloud chart.
WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR? Starting up servers & constructing databases are bothersome tasks for your project when you just want to concentrate on utilizing your JavaScript skills. This workshop is for front-end developers who want to spend less time setting up their back-end infrastructure & want to concentrate on the UI/UX of their projects.
WHAT THE WORKSHOP INVOLVES The workshop will guide you on how to: * Use the GUI of the Kintone platform to create databases (Kintone Apps) * Utilize the databases to store & manage data * Apply client-side JavaScript to visualize the database data as Bubble Clouds * Use Kintone's REST API initiator to call REST APIs from client-side JavaScript
WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH * A 1-year free Kintone Developer License that you can use to build your projects on * A functioning Bubble Cloud Project built with data that lies within your Kintone databases * Knowledge & experience on using a no-code/low-code platform to reduce the amount of coding needed for your projects * Understanding on how to avoid CORS errors when calling REST APIs from client-side JavaScript * Directions on future projects you can work on
WORKSHOP PREREQUISITES The workshop requires attendees to have: * A Kintone Developer Program registration https://developer.kintone.io/hc/en-us/articles/212494788 * A Kintone Developer License https://developer.kintone.io/hc/en-us/articles/220582587 * Basic knowledge on client-side JavaScript
THE SPEAKER Nim Grinvald is a technical evangelist at Kintone who has been coding in JavaScript for 3 years. Just as important, he has a killer hummus recipe & can make his own natto (Japanese fermented soybeans).

WHAT IS KINTONE? Kintone is a no-code/low-code cloud platform for teams to easily share & collaborate on their data efficiently.
On the front-end, JavaScript, CSS, and/or HTML can be added to further enhance the UI/UX of the Kintone Databases. Visit our developer website to get acquainted with the Kintone API: https://developer.kintone.io/
