About Mala Ramakrishnan
Mala is an entrepreneurial leader with 20+ years experience in leadership roles in product, engineering, & marketing in companies of varied sizes: startups all the way to publicly traded companies.
As the visionary founder of Progressive Ventures, Mala is fueling the next wave of AI innovation, out of Silicon Valley, California.
She is also the Founder & Chief Technology & Product Officer of Cuvo, a machine learning platform that automates digital personalization using LLMs in media products.
She is also Co-founder & President at Founders Creative, a social enterprise that elevates under-represented founders. https://www.founderscreative.ai/
About Vincent Mao
As a General Partner at Bouken Capital, Vincent empowers very early-stage startups in AI, Climate Tech, & B2B/B2C in their fundraising journeys. He is also Partner at Global Millennial Capital, investing in pre-seed to series A in AI, Climate Tech, Blockchain, & Cloud Computing. He also holds Venture Partner roles at VU Venture Partners & Erez Capital.
Vincent also brings a decade of past experience driving innovation & growth at tech giants including Google, Meta, & Walmart. He has led the effort to scale Meta's global demand strategy & analytics, Google's North American digital strategy in key business units, delivering multi-hundred-million-dollar impacts, & accelerating Walmart's omni-channel commerce growth.
With a keen eye for cutting through the noise in disruptive innovation, Vincent has a track record of investing in promising startups including Starday Foods, Flex, Open AI & many more. Additionally, he serves on the advisory boards of several startups & has been a judge in startup pitch competitions.
About Brian Zhan
Brian Zhan is an investor at CRV, where he partners with pioneering AI & data-driven startups, including Voyage AI, Skild AI, LanceDB, & several others in stealth mode.
Brian served as the product lead at Starburst, collaborating with the original Presto creators to launch the company's batch analytics product. He built an active open source community of over 200 companies using Starburst's open source product Trino (renamed from Presto) for batch analytics.
Prior to Starburst, Brian was Facebook's first product manager for Presto & Spark, playing a key role in building the company's data infrastructure. His blend of technical expertise & product vision allows him to provide valuable guidance to founders at CRV.
