Speakers:
1. Leon Coe, AI at Eigen joins us to talk about Models you may not know (but should): getting GPT-4 performance 10x faster & 25x cheaper
Conventional wisdom today says that when you're trying to apply LLMs to a problem simply start with the biggest models like GPT-4, see if you can get it to work, & if you can, then try to get it to work on a smaller model later. This presentation is about how to use smaller, faster, less expensive models to do work that GPT-4 can't do that will unlock more use cases for using AI in your work. We will do an overview of the top alternative models, compare their performance to GPT-4, & show you a live demo on a project management use case that you can use at work everyday.
2. Wyl Villacres, Head of Customer Success at Tability joins us to talk about Choosing LLMs & overcoming constraints to build effective AI solutions for real user problems."
The launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT sparked a rush to integrate AI features into SaaS applications. However, many of these features missed the mark in addressing real user needs. In this presentation, Wyl will explore how to effectively use the Jobs to be Done framework for developing meaningful AI features. He'll cover key considerations for selecting the right language models (LLMs) & navigating the constraints of building AI-enabled solutions that genuinely solve user problems.
