Double Diamond, NYC's favorite live design podcast & event series, is BACK with another night of conversations about designing & building at the frontier.
Our October event brings Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, Mina Fahmi, & Alex Leiphart to the stage to share what they're building & how they think about designing with intelligence.
The Lineup
Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, Co-founder & Chief Innovation Officer at Runway
Alejandro co-founded Runway to build new creative tools for the age of AI, & he leads the company's work on what's next, including Solaris, its research into interfaces that adapt & build themselves around what you're trying to do. Before Runway, he explored AI & creativity as a research resident at NYU.
Mina Fahmi, Co-founder & CEO at Sandbar
Mina is building Stream, Sandbar's private voice ring for capturing thoughts, dictating quietly, & talking through your ideas. He previously developed human-computer interfaces at the MIT Media Lab & at CTRL-labs (acquired by Meta).
Alex Leiphart, Partner & Head of Product at Little Plains
Alex helps lead Little Plains, the New York brand & product studio, where he heads up product. He's pioneering an intelligence-native approach to brand systems, rethinking how brands get built & run when agents are part of the team from day one.
Audience & Curation
Every Double Diamond audience is intentionally curated. We're prioritizing product builders & design leaders who are actively building for & with intelligence. If you're designing products at the frontier of human<>intelligence interaction, or building with agents & emerging tools, you're likely a good fit.
